Hiking Trails
10 minutes from the cabin is one of the most gorgeous hikes of Rim Country. This moderate hike leads to beautiful waterfalls, with only a total route of .8 miles.
Excellent for riding your ATV from your cabin, down through Haigler Creek and onto Young. Off Colcord Road, take back road to Young through Haigler Creek.
27 miles east of the cabin. Highline National Recreational Trail with trails ascending to the Mogollon Rim. The historic trail was established by early homesteads and ranches in the late 1800s.
1 Mile to the right of the cabin. Information on camping, hiking, fishing and hunting in the Rim Country below the Mogollon Rim. There is a short exercise trail adjacent to the station.
Haigler creek offers rainbows and browns trout all year long and many trails. It is only 20 minutes from the cabin down the Chamberlin Trail towards Young, Arizona.
